Forward Deployed Engineer
(Brazil)
About Harmony
We're building the conversation infrastructure for people-facing teams.
We're early and distributed across 3 continents. Small team of repeat builders who love product, craft, and taste. High velocity is the default. We ship fast, decide fast, and move on.
We have paying enterprise clients in Brazil. Large organizations, real production workloads, real revenue. Right now, client demand is outpacing what our team can deliver. New integrations, POC builds, custom deployments. The queue is full and growing. We need an engineer on the ground who can turn client conversations into working software, fast. You'll scope a POC with a client on Monday and have something running by Friday. Half engineering, half client-facing.
What you'll do
- Own client implementations end-to-end. Discovery, scoping, building, deploying, iterating. No handoffs. You're Harmony's person in the room and the engineer who delivers.
- Build integrations in TypeScript across the full stack. Connect Harmony to customer CRMs, support tools, internal systems. Production code, not glue scripts.
- Make calls in the room. Sit with enterprise stakeholders, understand their problems, propose solutions on the spot. You know what ships this week and what goes on the roadmap.
- Navigate complex organizations. Stakeholder mapping, procurement cycles, internal politics. You've done this before and you're comfortable in the room.
- Debug production issues at the intersection of our platform and customer environments. Fast, clean, permanent.
About you
Minimum:
- Strong TypeScript, full stack. React + Node.js. You've shipped production applications, not side projects.
- Proven experience working with enterprise or large B2B clients in a technical capacity. You've been in rooms with CTOs and ops leaders, and you know how to listen, scope, and deliver.
- You've built integrations with third-party systems. APIs, webhooks, data syncing. You know the pain.
- Fluent Brazilian Portuguese and English. Client meetings in Portuguese, team sync in English. Both sharp.
- High ownership, low ego. You don't wait for permission. You see the problem, you fix it, you tell the team what you did.
Bonus:
- Previous FDE, Solutions Engineer, or technical implementation role.
- Experience with conversation data, audio/transcription pipelines, or AI-adjacent systems.
- Startup experience. You know the rhythm, and you like it.
Stack
TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL. Integrations with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio), support tools (Help Scout, Front, Kustomer), and productivity platforms (Slack, Notion, Linear).
How we work
- Ship it. A V1 with real users beats a V5 in a slide deck. We learn from live product, not debates.
- Own it fully. You don't need permission to do great work here. See something broken? Fix it. Have a better idea? Run with it.
- Stay curious, stay humble. "I don't know" is a starting point. You question assumptions, dig into first principles, and change your mind when the evidence says you should.
- Be direct, be kind. Feedback is fast, honest, and specific. But always with care. Trust is the infrastructure that makes speed possible.
- Taste matters. The details are the product.
What we offer
- Competitive salary + equity.
- Remote-first.
- Direct impact. Enterprise clients are live and paying. You're building what they rely on.
- Paid co-working space.
- Flexible leave.
- Growth. You're building the FDE function from scratch, not filling a seat in one.
