Founding Marketer / Growth Lead
Harmony is the conversation infrastructure for people-facing teams.
Customers tell companies everything: what's broken, what sells, what's coming next. Harmony captures those conversations at scale and turns them into what leadership actually acts on: which reps win, why deals die, what to build next.
We're twelve people across 3 continents. Repeat builders who love product, craft, and taste. High velocity is the default. We ship fast, decide fast, and move on.
About the role
We have paying enterprise clients on multiple continents, and demand is outpacing our capacity. What we don't have is anyone whose full-time job is making sure the right people find out we exist.
You'll be the first marketing hire. You build the function from zero: positioning, content, website, launches, community, demand. Strategy and execution are the same person here, and that person is you. You'll work directly with the founders and own the whole surface.
Be clear-eyed about the shape of it. There's no team to delegate to and no playbook to inherit. You'll write the copy, ship the page, run the campaign, and read the numbers yourself. If that sounds like the best part rather than the price, keep reading.
What you'll do
- Own positioning and the story. Sharpen how we describe what Harmony is and who it's for, and keep it consistent across the website, the product, and every deck that leaves the building.
- Build the content engine. Blog, comparison pages, one-pagers for sales, launch posts. You write clearly about complex things and you know when a diagram beats a paragraph.
- Build and run our LinkedIn presence. Harmony's and the founders'. Turn customer conversations and company insights into content that people actually engage with.
- Own the website. Messaging, landing pages, customer stories. Continuously improved, never "done".
- Turn releases into launches. We ship constantly and most of it gets less attention than it deserves. Every meaningful release gets a plan: who needs to know, what they need to hear, where it reaches them.
- Find the channels that work. Founder-led content, communities, partnerships, and events, from small executive dinners to industry gatherings. Run small experiments, kill what doesn't move, double down on what does.
- Arm the people talking to customers. Sales and success get the framing, materials, and answers they need, built from real customer conversations, not from a template.
How you'll know it's working
- Inbound becomes a real source of pipeline.
- LinkedIn is buzzing about us.
- People arrive at demos already understanding what Harmony is. The founders stop re-explaining the category on every call.
- Pipeline starts in channels you built, not only in the founders' networks.
- Sales pulls your materials into every deal without being asked.
- Three months in, there's a working growth engine where there was a blank page.
About you
- You've done marketing at an early-stage B2B company, ideally as the first or one of the first hires. You've seen zero-to-one and you liked it.
- You can work with an external group of contractors and manage them well.
- Product marketing foundation plus real execution range: content, growth, brand. You've moved a metric with something you made yourself.
- You write extremely well in English. The words are the job. Copy that lands, headlines that get rewritten until they do.
- AI-native. You build with AI daily: agents, automation, content workflows. One person here does the work of a small team, and that's how.
- Strategic and hands-on in the same week. You can set the direction on Monday and ship the landing page on Wednesday.
- High ownership, low ego. You don't wait for a brief. You see the gap, you fill it, you tell the team what you did.
Bonus
- You've marketed a technical or infrastructure product.
- Community building or founder-brand experience.
- Design or video skills. Enough taste to know good from almost-good.
How we work
- Own it fully. You don't need permission to do great work here. See something broken? Fix it.
- Build the system, not just the thing. If you're doing it twice, automate it.
- Be direct, be kind. Feedback is fast, honest, and specific. But always with care. Trust is the infrastructure that makes speed possible.
- Ship it. A V1 with real users beats a V5 in a slide deck.
- Stay curious, stay humble. "I don't know" is a starting point.
What we offer
- The whole surface. First marketer, no layers, direct line to the founders and to customers.
- B2B contract, full-time.
- Remote-first, we need a few hours of overlap with European time, the rest is yours to arrange.
- 30 paid days off a year.
- Growth. Build the function well and you'll be the person who leads it as it scales.
